Cosmelan Skin Peels

Cosmelan/Dermamelan peels are used to treat pigmentation caused by both environmental and hormonal issues. Cosmelan/Dermamelan treatments are used for all skin tones.
It is designed to eliminate or reduce dark spots on your skin. It does this by correcting all stages of the hyperpigmentation process to eliminate existing dark spots and sun damage.

Hyperpigmentation

1. Melasma is most commonly found on the face around the cheeks, forehead, nose and chin.
2. Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) is usually the result of an injury or inflammation to the skin which has caused an increase in pigment production such as acne scars.
3. Sun spots caused by prolonged sun exposure.
4. Freckles – small brown spots found in areas exposed to the sun.

How Does Cosmelan work?

You may have to discontinue some particular products prior to your Cosmelan peel.
The Cosmelan mask remains on the face for 8 – 10 hours. It looks very similar to a “mud mask”.
You remove it at home with warm water. There is an easy to follow list of post care instructions to follow for 72 hours. This is compulsory to ensure the desired results. There will be products to continue with and then there is a follow up mask, 8 weeks after the first one and you will then continue with the Cosmelan products for 7 months from the first mask.
