Who is VISCODERM® HYDROBOOSTER for?
VISCODERM® HYDROBOOSTER is intended for anyone with concerns about reduced skin quality, in particular those with concerns around loss of skin tone and hydration, and the appearance of superficial wrinkles in the expressive areas of the face such as around the mouth, eyes, and forehead.’
What is VISCODERM® HYDROOSTER like?
VISCODERM® HYDROBOOSTER can be administered using several different injection techniques with an ultrafine needle. Technique selection will need to adapted according to your cosmetic practitioner’s assessment of your skin condition, the extent and type of lines being treated, and the extent of deep hydration that’s required.
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime. It is advisable to avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory medications, or vitamin E supplements around the time of the treatment.’ Immediately after treatment you should avoid exposure to excessive heat (sun, UV tanning session, lasers) and to intense cold.’
Are there any side effects?
As with any cosmetic treatment, side effects can occur. You may experience side effects that are localised and temporary which usually disappears after a few days. Symptoms may include redness, swelling, itching, or bruising. Hardening or nodules and discolouration of the skin may appear at the point of injection. Please consult your cosmetic practitioner for further information regarding side effects. And if any reactions persist, please consult your practitioner.’
When will I see results?
Results from VISCODERM® HYDROBOOSTER can be observed after the first treatment session. Best results are obtained with a full treatment course consisting of 2 injection sessions placed 2 months apart. And to prolong these results, retreatments are generally recommended after 5-6 months. Results based on the treatment of crow’s feet and vertical lip lines at 48 hrs after the first injection procedure.
